All you have to do is stop the deranged delusions from tumbling out of your mind and onto the forum and it will all be like a bad dream. Clearly Carlos doesn't want guilt by association. I'm not that bothered either way.

I must say though I do admire your arrogance. This isn't an economics forum. Maybe that's why it is so quiet. You've so bored and irritated the people who wanted to use the forum that they left.

How does it feel to have that on your conscience?

Freudian slip, or plain dumb a$$ admission that you cracked under pressure?

On a warm summer's eve
On a train bound for nowhere
I met up with the gambler
We were both too tired to sleep
So we took turns a-starin'
Out the window at the darkness
The boredom overtook us, and he began to speak

He said, "Son, I've made my life
Out of readin' people's faces
Knowin' what the cards were
By the way they held their eyes
So if you don't mind my sayin'
I can see you're out of aces
For a taste of your whiskey
I'll give you some advice"

So I handed him my bottle
And he drank down my last swallow
Then he bummed a cigarette
And asked me for a light
And the night got deathly quiet
And his faced lost all expression
He said, "If you're gonna play the game, boy
You gotta learn to play it right

You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
Know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done

Now every gambler knows the secret to survivin'
Is knowin' what to throw away
And knowin' what to keep
'Cause every hand's a winner
And every hand's a loser
And the best that you can hope for
Is to die in your sleep"

So when he finished speakin'
He turned back for the window
Crushed out his cigarette
And faded off to sleep then somewhere in the darkness
The gambler he broke even,
but in his final words
I found an ace that I could keep

You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done

You've got to know when to hold 'em
(When to hold 'em)
Know when to fold 'em
(When to fold 'em)
Know when to walk away
know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done

You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done

Sorry Melly. Neither. Medical expertise. Like I said you are delusional. You think you wake up every morning with a stiffy. You don't. You've got Rigor Mortis my friend. Die with dignity. Wink

Let me tell you something else about you.

You're handicapped, very likely confined to a wheelchair.

I suspected this earlier from your posts but I had to goad you to get confirmation. I now have it.

There's more than 80pc probability that you are handicapped. No, I don't mean mentally handicapped, you are of average intelligence and I knew that from the outset. I mean physically handicapped, possibly through sickness or injury. You're "retired" not by age or choice, but rather by fate.

The signs were all there, the rage, the bitterness, the sociopathic behaviour, the napoleonic complex temper tantrums, the escape afforded with posting as multiple characters under different monikers, all the time in your hands to carpet bomb the forum with your posts everyday (some as long as small essays), and your around the clock presence stalking my posts. Yes, the signs were all there, they just needed confirmation.

You, sir, are handicapped.

Clearly you are a man who likes to back his hunches. No wonder you live in a council bedsit with only the rats for company. LaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh

would a "director of a boutique investment bank on a 7 figure salary" as he claims to be, really spend every waking moment on some obscure forum, belittling people? I don't think so.

looks like we can add mocking handicapped people to the long list which includes, amongst others, gay people and food scientists. Laugh How low can melly stoop? Laugh

Relax carlos. You are far too sane for that and had you done so and I then told you that the comment was in poor taste because whilst I'm not disabled I do look after a wife who uses a wheelchair as a result of a car accident I genuinely think you would be sorry for having made the comment.

Of course I am sowi for that comment.

I ain't no sicko.

Personaly I dnt think melenius is either, infact I'm sure he ain't.

I think he made that comment cus u realy have got to his head. So know his trying to get his own back.

Personaly I think if we r discussing finances we all shoiuld stick to that subjuct.

I think we should all be critical about each others opinions.  There's nothing wring with taking p1ss out of some1 opinions as long as we dnt take the Mick out of one another as that's cheap and dnt think any1 realy wants to read all dat carp

Btw I think it's great wat ur doing. Dnt think we will see too much of this in the future.

I see alot of evil in kids. Very self centered at doing nothing at all

Funnily enough I think we will see a lot more of it. Go to some of the previously poorer countries with links to this country like India and their respect for their loved ones shames us. Go back within living memory in this country and people cared about their family, friends and neighbours because it was in their interests to do so. Not everything about the welfare state was positive. Palming off caring duties on people who don't care was a recipe for disaster. Whoever holds power is likely to find the current welfare state unsustainable. Maybe we will rediscover our desire to help others?
