More money printing from the BoE. They are shocked the first £325bn didn't work but they are absolutely sure £50bn more is definitely what's needed now.

More money printing from the ECB. Relaxing collateral requirements and trading freshly printed euros for garbage paper *is* money printing by another name.

Meanwhile, the FED money printing never stopped and Bernanke is getting ready for one final money printing orgy in late 2012 or early 2013.

……and then the wheels come off.

They will print, print, pr………….oh feck , never mind, you either get it by now or you don't.

Not for the first time you have shot your wad too early. I disagree with his point but he said he didn't think the FED were going to do any more QE. Just to be clear it is the BOE and not the FED isn't it? Grin

I have to hand it to benny the clown, he managed to get another guy down to his knees.

Get a clue. The FED has never stopped printing. You don't know that because if they don't announce it as QE, then it's not QE in your simpleton mind. No wonder these criminals can get away with murder with mugs like you around living in blissful ignorance.

I'm not in blissful ignorance. You have made yourself look a fool again. Getting to be a bit of a habit.

I don't want to misrepresent you so I'll just quote:

Which has nothing to do with the tsunami of inflation that is coming (100pc certainty).

Still waiting nearly two years later. You did say tsunami didn't you? LaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh

If you don't think there's inflation happening NOW and more coming down the pipe, then trade against it. Best of luck, you'll need it.

Was it a crack pipe? Have you filled the shiitmobile up lately?

You are quoting me, I'm flattered. I knew it all along you hang by every word I post on here depsite your protestations.

I will file your post in the now bulging "hey, look over file" file. If you truly want to have a debate on inflation you must first demonstrate that you understand inflation.

I isued this challenge to benny the clown and he run away with his tail between his legs as usual. The same challenge goes out to you. Explain, in layman's language, how our govnement calculates inflation in the UK. To debate where we are going, let's first make sure you understand where we've been.

Get to work.

Here's another one for you then. Right in the bread basket. LaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh

I'm not sure what thread it's on and I don't have the time nor the inclination to go looking for it just to satisfy you but my previous posts on "tsunami of inflation" included information on the massive commodity price increases we have witnessed in 2010 and the assertion that inflation is with us NOW (ignore CPI, pay attention to your bills) and massive inflation is making it's way through the system, to be here in 3-6 months once existing inventories get depleted and the price increases make their way through the system.

Hey Melly perhaps you can answer a question:

In a scenario of a tsunami of inflation do you really think that the government could manipulate CPI, RPI or any other measure of inflation to the extent that you clearly think is happening?

Or were you just plain wrong?

Go on let it out son. Wink
By:

And there's more:

If you don't think we are not in the midst of a MASSIVE inflation spiral, that's fine by me

You live in this wonderful country, you fancy yourself a smart lad, answer the question.

How does our government calculate inflation? Layman's language stuff, I don't expect more from you anyways.

P.S Remind me again, how many hours did you spend going over old threads to find what you thought was "ammunition"?

Come on, set up another strawman, pace back 50 yards, and take a run at him and knock him over. Now, didn't that feel good?

You're still as easily manipulated as ever, all fluff and no substance, but it sure as hell felt good, didn't it?

About 10 minutes and it was the funniest 10 minutes since I last looked at your bullshiit. By the way can you tell me what a tsunami is? LaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh
By:
Eeternaloptimist
When: 05 Jul 12 18:16
Okay Melly I'll tell you how they do it:

They sit around a great big table and they discuss how they can manipulate the figures to avoid an official designation of inflation being in tsunami territory because what they want to do above all else is piss you off. LaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh

I still don't know what a tsunami is though. Can you tell me? Is it like when the tide comes in on the beach and your sand castle is breached? Or is it like when the tide goes out and you are found to have been swimming with no trunks on?

Your response sums it all up.

A diversion dressed in a joke.

Sometimes just posting "I don't have the faintest idea" may save you a lot of embarrassment.........and it may encourage me to continue to hold you by the hand until you learn something.
By:
Eeternaloptimist
When: 05 Jul 12 18:23
You know what your problem is Melly?

No, not the erectile dysfunction or nocturnal enuresis. Although that combination is pretty bad. Your real problem is your fixation with detail at the expense of the bigger picture. Forget the rubbish. What you need to clarify is whether your ark will safely cope with this tsunami or not? If it won't you need to get yourself down to Homebase double quick and get some more wood for a bigger boat.
By:

Melly

I've already told you. YOU are the joke and we are all laughing at you. How does your ego take it? Wake up, get dressed, feed Norman and Hilda (the rats) think of some more stories to impress us but then sit down at your computer screen ready for another inevitable shellacking.

I admire your indefatigability if nothing else.
By:

By:

How remiss of me. Any poison needs an antidote. The antidote to Melly's nonsense is pure hard logic. This was my view. No bells, no whistles:

So having given a kind of reasoning my own view is that in that kind of time frame (end of 2012) we have about a 20% chance of deflation and about a 75% chance of moderate inflation. This leaves about a 5% chance of high or frightening inflation levels.

So you tell me Melly cos I gots ta know:

Who was right? You or me. Tsunami or moderate inflation.

Even you can answer that one. LaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh

great read ETO!!!

melly has had his a$$ handed to him on a plate and his face used to wipe the floor similtaneouslyLoveLoveLoveLoveLoveLove

why does he insist on calling everyone "mate"ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

melly- you have nothing to offer as usual except "mate" ....."remind me"....... "inflation tsunami"........"meltdown/breakdown"

your so limited, but thats understandable with your one trick pony, extrapolate the minutiae to th n/th degree  outlook on life.

The thing is he makes it so much fun. Every day he comes on here like a strutting peacock and every day he gets turned into a feather duster. Only to be repeated the day after. He cracks quicker than a dry twig. By this stage he doesn't know if he needs a shiit, shave or haircut but he will be back begging for more tomorrow.

It was very revealing that he was flattered by my quoting his nonsense. Anybody else would have been looking through their fingers at a slow motion forum car crash dismantling. Not Melly. In Melly World if he is being talked about then he is someone important.

I'll bet he walks down the vegetable section at the super market and when Mrs Melly picks up a bag of peas he screams BUY BUY BUY at the top of his lungs.

Get a grip. Your meltdown is becoming very pathetic to even watch.

So you're all fluff and no substance and got called out for it, so what?

It happens a lot on here, especially to your new found dogs, eeeeer, sorry I mean friends.

You got taken to school, get over it. It's totally consuming you now, it will only get worse.

If I'm all fluff and no substance you should have no trouble swatting away my seemingly vacuous question:

Where is the tsunami of inflation?

Remember this one thing mate:

If you are wrong about that what else might you be wrong about? It's like the IRA used to say to the British government. You have to be right about everything. I only need to be right once to destroy your credibility.

I am going to keep taking you apart piece by piece and I'm going to enjoy it.
By:

You've already been swatted away, you are just too stupid to know it.
By:
Eeternaloptimist
When: 07 Jul 12 15:06
Bbbbbbbbbut I wasn't swatted. I was swept away. I thought it was the tsunami but then I realised it had been raining heavily and it was really just the floods.

Did you wake up last night in a cold sweat thinking that if you could be so wrong about this what else might you be wrong about?
By:
Eeternaloptimist
When: 07 Jul 12 15:07
Seriously though is that all you've got?

I wouldn't say I expected more. Just a slightly different approach.

You see one of two things is happening here. Either you are what you say you are and you are duty bound to address why you predicted something and it failed to materialise or you are just another bullshiitter who is going to hide away hoping I leave you alone.

Which is it big boy? Man Of Steel or Man Whose Cojones Are On My Mantelpiece?
