no tis not isable unfortunately. yes I do have a SIPP in which I am paying in monthly via a salary sacrifice arrangement. why do you ask?

think salary sacrifice is best way to do it if your employer is willing to set it up, as you get the NI savings paid into your pot as well. if your employer is nice (mine is) they will give their NI savings to you as well. Can't remember the exact figures, but effectively when you include both the two NI contributions you get roughly double the amount you sacrificed going into your pot. Not quite as good as a final salary pension granted, but a damn sight better than just paying into a crappy stakeholder pension with aviva or someone.

sippdeal is the best provider I found (although I guess it would vary depending on what you want to actually invest in, for example if you were solely buying managed funds then hargreaves landsdown might be the best). sippdeal has no management fees, unlike the others which typically charge 1% or more (doesn't sound a lot, but it is huge if you are saving for 40 years). The only fees are your typical commissions on share deals. £10 for most shares, but only £1.50 if doing the regular investment (although that can only be done on FTSE350 shares unfortunately). At the moment I am buying vedanta resources in mine, I wouldn't mind buying a few aim stocks as well, but it isn't particularly cost effective to do that every month as the £10 fees mount up if you are only investing a few hundred a month.

At the moment, as I only just started it, I am paying about 1% of what I put in in fees. Which is quite a bit less than the 1.5% most schemes will charge (on your entire pot) I think you will agree. definitely worth looking into.

up to 20p now since I posted this (from 17p). They have also now found 203 mT from 5% of their license area now. Yep, what a great joke melly.

I'm expecting this to hit well over 30p on news of funding and production starting in Q2.

been a bit of profit taking in the last few days, think it peaked at 32p at one point. think this might be another good entry point - still waiting on the announcement of the funding and coal sales actually starting; both should be happening very, very soon.

which makes very excellent reading. This analyst has a price target of 50.9p/share based on current predicted sales. Which is nice in itself. However, this figure only takes into account the amount of coal currently proven up so far. They have only actually drilled 5% of the license area. So there is clearly huge potential to significantly increase the amount being produced, giving a potential share price in the multiples of pounds if they can ramp production up enough, which should easily be possible.

all looking very promising imo as a longer term investment.
