The best way??? But become a bullion bank of course. This way you can sell it in massive quantities although you don't even have it, nor do you plan to ever have it. Welcome to the wonderful world of paper metals trading.

I would have thought you could sell it to most jewellers, especially those who have a sign outside saying 'Gold Bought For Cash'. Obvioualy those places are capitalising on people too dumb to realise they are probably being offered a price something like 30% lower than the spot price per ounce. But if you go in with that information and start negotiating on their profit margin maybe you can get it down to 10% or less.
When you just present it or try to sell on ebay nobody can know for certain that it is 100% pure and not pinched from somewhere. When I traded a gold coin before I had a certificate of authenticity and the buyer came to my house, so he would at least know where I lived. Isn't silver meant to be hallmarked? That would help prove the provenance to some extent. I guess most nicked silver is melted down so has no markings on it.

MONEY TREE, someone just made you an offer you can't refuse. With the exception of private-to-private deals such as Pierre just offered you NO ONE, and I mean absolutely NO ONE in the business of buying/selling bullion will buy from you at spot. If you are willing to take about 7pc under spot, I can post about 20 places just off the top of my head right here in London that will be more than happy to "relieve" you of your bullion . Pierre's deal can't be beat, so if you were serious, TAKE IT.

The only reason I gave you a flippant response to begin with when you first put up the post was because I thought you were trolling. You last post just confirmed that. Asking something on here when all it takes is a few keystrokes, and not especially skilled research abilities, to find out today's spot price in minutes is a bit too rich.
Seriously, surely you can find something better to do.
