Wow, bennyboy, it's starting to look more and more like I have my hook in you pretty deep. It seems like you can't show up here anymore without always screaming "melly, melly, melly" from the top of your lungs. I must say though, I do like it.
![]() Now on with today's lesson for you bennyboy. They are lying. They need cover for massive money printing that's coming up to cover the huge holes left behind by imploding bank balance sheets. "There's no inflation" is the cover story. Of course an idiot like you who reads cnbc to get his news and totally incapable of critical thinking swallows the whole story hook line and sinker.......and posts about it to prove his idiocy beyond any doubt. End of lesson. ![]() |

menelaus, the "it's a conspiracy!" line is a little disappointing. I would rather have said that mr ben is very confused about the 2 types of inflation. Hyperinflation is a loss of faith in a currency. Not inflation that is high

The BoE lying to suit their agenda is hardly a "conspiracy theory". This is the same bunch who were telling us two years ago that they expected CPI to climb to 1.5pc from 1.1pc before we ended up with over 5pc. Do you think with their army of economists, and access to data I would give my right hand to obtain, they would get that wrong? Wake up. "I would rather have said that mr ben is very confused about the 2 types of inflation. Hyperinflation is a loss of faith in a currency. Not inflation that is high" Heaven knows I've tried, a five-year old would have gotten it by know. Stupidity in extremis. |

I can't quite accept that a lid could be kept on the varying opinions of the " army of economists" working for the BoE, if outright false statements by King, or lying as Menelaus said, is happening.
Is the UK that much of a police state ? |
