As promised the first of my 2 year trades is upon us.Let me spell it out for the novices. I wont be holding the positions as a compulsion for 2 years. I'm giving it up to 2 years to give me a huge profit. If it happens after one day then so be it.
Stops- will be huge. No boubt a few will choke on their weeties by the stops.
Contract size- I will just list the result per contract rather than the total amount of my contracts. Making big profits triggers large bouts of jealousy by some forumites.
First trade.
short the AUD 107.10 the stop 1.12.10. profit target- below parity
watching gold, copper, euro, rio tinto, dow index and some others to a lesser extent.

"Although all metals had big moves the OTHER WAY from what I predicted, parabolic in the case of copper, and the AUD moved over 300bps the WRONG WAY since my now infamous "SELL SELL SELL" post, please hold your nose, pretend you never saw that, and give me a chance to do this over again. Just in case I get it wrong and in order to avoid ridicule I'm giving this two years because by that time everyone would have forgotten about this idiotic post. If by some chance however I get lucky, even if it's the next day, I will show my face on here pretending I'm a genius. That's about as much detail as I'm going to share, you'd have to just trust me the rest of the way. I'm also attempting to break the world record in how much pain I can endure while watching my money dwindle down to zero by setting stops 500 bps higher than my entry point (editorial: can they even be called "stops" at this point? - it sounds more like insane asylum barbed wired fence in my opinion). Thank you for exposing yourself as an ego driven mental case. The trade is listed as 2 years and you have written it off after an hour or so. The trade is posted.Im sure most will watch with interest. You can be relied upon for consistant stupidity. Try taking your head out of your asz for a few minutes.The smell will improve.  |

just checked the prices- AUD 105.78 wooo hoooo!!!! this could be a an absolutly massive result coming up.
I'm a bit dark I did'nt short gold last week in the high 1700's. Down to 1713 atm. I will short here as I dont want to miss the demise. trade price- 1715.69 stop 2199. exit- below 1500. |

Btw have you noted recent newspaper reports of riots in the streets of Shanghai and elsewhere over property prices collapsing and off the plan speculators being left high and dry. Beginning of the end of the Chinese bubble economy ? Implications for the AUD. Maybe you shouldn't be too quick to take your profits on your AUD short ? |

It must be hell for bennyboy to watch what he thought were meager profits vanish (ans make a fool of himself in the process) as soon as London opens, just because some eurocrat opened up his mouth and mentioned EFSF leverage. Until one day soon a real announcement comes out from the ECB and the real "consummation" (learn how to spell bennyboy) begins. And just to think the only man who counts hasn't even spoken yet.....

  AUD trade closed at 99.99.read it and weep melly. 711 pips profit.I believe thats a forum record. I could not be happier. Result is 7100$ per contract- result is MEGA. Gold 1712- for the purposes of this thread I'm closing the gold trade at around 300$ per contract profit. RIO- 67.02- I'm closing that one also. profit per 100 shares 3000$ TOTAL PROFIT- $ 10,400 FOR EACH CONTRACT HELD. the reason I'm closing the trades can be found in my "adieu thread " |
