I wondering about this - the markets seem to have not reacted particularly well to good news recently. I think this is worth a punt though, it is either going to double or drop 50%, so I reckon that is a fairly good bet, as I believe the news will be favourable.

I think this could be a huge earner tomorrow. Only bad thing is I don't know the timing of the company news (which I believe will be tomorrow). The lemmings will keep this warm early in the UK. Ben might know before us but i doubt it. I think its a long term winner but oiley exploration are worth more than a buy cheerio.

absolute carnage, down 21%, in fact I think they just suspended trading as the bid was lower than the ask.

I think it will be 30p by the end of June and within 12 months it will be 70p plus as plenty of positives with Puntland and Georgia bearing the fruits.

So apparently they are spudding wells in trinidad starting the end of june.
RE: puntland. I don't think this is crucial to how well range do long term (although obviously finding, and producing/selling off from there will be a huge bonus). texas/georgia/trinidad have plenty of oil there. There may be some political risks in georgia but this is minimal. Apparently conoco already drilled/tested a number of blocks in puntland a while ago, and found there was huge potential, but decided to dispose of their interest due to the political risks there. I have no doubt that there are multi billions worth of oil there, it is just a question of whether it is stable enough politically. I would much rather be in range than gulf keystone though. Puntland may be unstable, but it isnt half as unstable as iraq is. |

I think the majority of shareholders in RRL see this as a long term investment and I think most of them will be happy to stay with the company until the share price approaches £1. They are starting to make a name for themselves and I wonder if any of the big-boys might come and knock on the door. My average has now increased from just under 10p to nearly 15p (sadly) so I'll be here for a while.
