 what's the best way to preserve my cash?? I don't want it to be devalued to nothing! I can see fiat currencies being worthless in years to come. Can not however see us trading in gold or silver coins though. |

It's all part of a highly choreographed kabuki theater. If anyone thinks S&P would "surprise" the markets with a statement like that WITHOUT the explicit knowledge and approval of the FED, I have some nice sea front property in Japan to sell you - it even glows in the dark.
Join the dots. Who benefits from such an announcement and WHY NOW? Don't pay attention to what they say, watch what they do. |

If the markets go down significantly, Gold/Silver, commodities and real assets may be the place to be.
I have a feeling that most things will be heading down, so I have gone mainly for bonds personally. (largely Retail bonds and some strategic bonds) |
