Safe place for a pension

Looking at Standard life? Any opinions? Considering i am based in the Republic of Ireland i want don't want to involve Irish banks.

I have a SIPP with Alliance trust. They allow investment in ETFs in your pension, which some others do not. They have a pretty good choice of managed funds as well. Their website is pretty basic though.

Have a good look at the charges.Standard life charge £224 a year admin for pensions under 100K. I think Alliance trust charge ca £80 a year. There are other charges to consider as well.
