Centurion Credit Card - Amex

No not that one but had their black card for a while. Good for a certain type of lady.

Is this the titanium charge card? if so yes i was broked into upgrading after 10 years on centurion, mainly i just wanted to see what the card was like. No it's not worth it, I think I received around 700 euros of free benefits last year and platiunum received exactly the same. You can downgrade at anytime and they'll pro rata your membership cost so if you are just curious to have one or see what it looks like then no harm. For me it gets me and family into the 1st class lounge at Eurostar which platiunum doesn't, even if on a standard ticket which we buy as only go to Lille. Half a dozen times a year just about justifies it.

Amex Centurion and Amex Black are synonymous.  In the UK the early black cards were branded Centurion and issued on plastic. They then did a big relaunch/upselling offer based on a new handmade laser-etched solid titanium metal cards - hand made in Brighton!!
