Hi all I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how volatile the ftse is on an average day,

For example if i was to trade the hourly markets, and 10.00-11.00 got to a bf price of 3 for the ftse to go up for the hour (and 1.6ish for down)

i know there are plenty of occasions where the market will carry on its downward movement and the price will not turn around resulting in  the hourly market remaining down at close, but what are the chances of it being this predictable all day and there being no turnarounds, i.e the hourly market developing a downward trend then continuing this until the markt closes?

I hope that makes sense, thanks for your help :-)

Does that mean it wouldnt happen? which is what i thought, but was wondering if there would be occasions where this may happen however rare. PS I'm not planning on backing hoping that it wont reverse LMAO ;-)
