Hi everyone, I'm a recent graduate and currently working. I've always had a interest in the financial world and trading. I was wondering if someone could give me advice or point me in the right direction as to what I need to do to further enhance my knowledge of the industry and get myself in? Any decent website, journals, books etc that I should read?

As you are all aware, the competition for jobs is fierce, so any advice would be great.

Just to mention, my current job has nothing to do with trading.

Thanks in advance

If you only buy/read one book,it must be

'The Way to Trade' by John Piper.

If you take it all on board, you will already be a winner.

Thanks, I'll have a look. Is there anyone on this forum that trades or used to trade in the market?

Kohaku, does the book only have relevance for financial trading, or would it be useful for betting on horses, football etc on here?

Wur.

Its really about share trading, but the principle is the same if your trading the Fav,2nd fav with high volume..

I believe things like bet angel show the price chart in larger scale..the same rules show where the prices get bigger or smaller, and you can see the trend and when it breaks,up or down.
