Anyone had any dealings with this company ?

My relatives are selling an unoccupied house with no chain, and this company have made a reasonable offer.

Apparently they specialise in buying unoccupied properties with no chain on behalf of people relocating to the specific area.

The estate agents handling the sale have had no previous dealings with the company but also no reason to believe they are not genuine. Estate agents have instructed a Sheffield firm to handle legal work on no-sale, no-fee basis.

I have had a look on the net for details of NP, but there seem to be several companies with National Property in website and i havnt nailed it down to a definite one yet.

I told my sister who is dealing with agents etc, that the agents are getting good money to sell the house so should be doing some digging on the NP company.

Initial worry i had was that NP  would make a decent initial offer, then somewhere down the line, suddenly request a big price cut. But i dont see them having that sort of leverage as there is no chain, and although a quick sale would be helpful, it is not essential.

So if anyone used NP, or heard of them, or even works for them Mischief any feedback appreciated.

Looks to be a scam.

He is operating in the Preston area again. Had an offer on Saturday from National Properties via my estate agent who said she had checked them out and they were a genuine company! I was therefore surprised to get a request from them on Tuesday morning for an upfront fee of £395 and some very peculiar clauses which formed some sort of contract with them on the reverse and decided this was obviousloy a scam so checked out on the internet and was not surprised to find my suspicions were proved right.

mad:  fantastic stuff bud,  i dont think my sister has been asked to pay an admin fee as yet, but they might just request it via estate agents.....

Just spoken to brother in law, he mentioned that as far as he knew, the solicitors that NP use are based in same building as NP !!!

Really think the estate agents should have done more digging to be honest, but most of those parasites dont give a fcuk as long as they get their commission [>o]

Thanks again, you are a gent.
