Who is the senior partner us or them?
Well Tata for one; alone; is the largest manufacturing employer in this country. Larger than any UK employer. They own Jaguar, Rover , Chorus ,Tetly and many more.
Our aim is to export our way out of this mess. So we just go and schmooze the colonials into buying loads of tat from us. Easy. They are so impressed by a nice suit and posh accent you know. They all want to be British themseves. That could be arranged for a few good deals with a few good coruption and beaurocracy wallahs.
Actually the truth is that India are looking to export to us. Can we stop em? A bit of Pakistan problems could hold em back. I nice liitle war would put em all on the back foot. I wonder if we could stirr it up a bit? I used to think that China was the only real and present threat to the status quo. I thought the bentness, backshesh and beaurocracy would hold them back. But here we go cap in hand to India. They are not daft you know they will want something in return. Revenge is a dish best served cold.
War is also good for arms sales. Condemn the whole thing enough and maybe we could sell weapons of mass destruction to both sides.

Pardon me. I have got it partly wrong. Pakistan etc are safe. We are queing up to sell Indian arms to be used against enemies closer to home.
Ok we are not the only ones. Like flies around sh1t all the major arms dealers are swarming around Indias ruling elite bribing them to fk inorder to off load as much military hardware as they can. When the consultants, the go betweens, and the Indian ruling class have skimmed of as much as they can the purchashes will be used agianst Indias own in Kashmir (80,000 dead and counting) and central India.
Meanwhile these despicable skumbags are literally planning a trip to the moon.

Agree with Melv. India is class ridden. The posturing millionaires and billionaires flaunt their wealth - with no thought for the poor majority.
Fraud and corruption is endemic.
A democracy in name, but not in practice. Power is bought in India, not won through the ballot box.

well, this is the fundamental nature of capitalism, exploitation
of labour resource.
1) every citizen cannot be king
2) a king cares not the colour of his slaves
reality is, the vast majority of people
are not interested in becoming king, they just want enough
to be comfortable.
because of the need for a comfortable lifestyle, the economic impact
for already established economies is gonna be huge. eg: it will only
take 20% of people in india + china combined to acquire
the same level of goods and services for the
whole populations of the USA + UK combined.
they should have access to the same opportunities that
we have, without any undue external interference.
i believe, we here in the west, will benefit most by
constructively aiding that.
what the emerging superpowers really have on their side
though is diverse histories and cultures (5-6000+ years),
which gives them the ability to see an idea, absorb it,
mutate it, and move with it (eg: they will brand and remake
their own version of democracy).
tie that up with a gift/drive for learning and education
and the next 20-30 years will be interesting indeed.

emerging from the top engineering and science uni's,
and you'll see a proliferation of asian names.
