Haven't heard a peep from the US Gov about Halliburton or Transocean. Not surprising cosidering they.re American.

Will Obama start paying reparations for the Bhopal and Piper Alpha disasters under the current system? Where the "foreign" company is liable for all damages (real and made up), even though they only own 60% of the field, where they will have to put money in an "escrow" account that can be used by the government!

BP is now is serious danger, so are all the current stockholders/pension funds, the Obama Government has made their intention clear. They want BP destroyed or preferably bought up by an American Company.
