I have just purchased £18,000 worth of shares in the following six companies.

I know nothing about share dealing and have bought these on the advice of a friend. I'd be glad to hear your thoughts.

I should mention this friend is an expert in such matters and has made many millions on the stock market. I am a complete novice.

Great strategy. I've ust got £2K of BP at 360p, and am looking for some mining, biotech and technology stocks.

Have another £6K to invest, split into £2K parcels.

I invest into penny shares, and I would only spreadbet on those type of shares you invested into. Since its not worth the dealing costs on to big of companys, as they hardly move in percentage terms, because you spend more in charges by the time they go up. Also speadbetting in the UK is completely tax free.
