Hi we aim to move to Spain for a year next month. We currently run and own our own business,We intend to let our staff run things while we are away my question is could we pay tax on any income earned here in Spain or would we be paying tax here as normal

I would obviously ask my accountant but he is away sunning himself

Any help would be appreciated

As far as i know, anyone resident in Spain for more than 183 days in a calendar year must pay income tax, and Spain imposes a wealth tax on your world-wide assets.  You shouldn't be taxed twice due to double taxation agreements between UK and Spain.  Just be clear about your domicile and residence, be aware of the rules.
