I am still a long-term holder and see $2000/oz in a couple of years. However, I see it as overbought and a 10 day or so retracement perhaps as far as 1150. As a big holder, I'm just selling ATM calls for June.

the 1180-1200 area is massive support, if the price firmly breaches and then closes under those levels... it is likely to cause a sharper retracement back down towards 1000.

It's going well lately.
 I see 1150 now as quite possible and others are agreeing with tuther chap on here for 1000. I still think it's a buy though, but I'm small net short with a ratchet stop now. |

All that glistens is not always gold. I read recently that a lot of companies who keep gold for their investors are leveraged 100 to 1.
If i bought gold i want definately want to be able to see it to know its really there. |

That is true paddle. Some folks are encouraging people to take delivery for that reason. If enough people do, there would be a tidy squeeze that could make it fly! I have a few bars already.

Well, I closed my cheeky short today. Didn't have the cojones to be anything other than long over the w/e. Who knows... North Korea, Greece, Thailand, Tie Rack - any of them could go.

Yes. I got some more on Sunday night around the 83 level spot equivalent. I am getting about as long as I want to be now and looking at getting some Long Bonds. Don't know whether to buy some 30yr zeroes for the pension or just Long Bonds outright. Bit of both I think, but I am in late this time round for bonds.
