When the election was called the pound has dropped from $1.53 to $1.51
Tories are leading for now so does this mean the pound will get weaker if the torries win the election?

no. it gives more chance for a hung parliament and the market doesn't like that
Fear that Brown could win which would lead to a sterling collapse.
