Hi there, just wondered if it was possible to use a bot for financial trading. I trade for a living ( not on here ) but several techniques I use could be automated and I would be intrigued to try one out for a while. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Hi Biodiesel, I usually scalp manually, but for the automated trades it involves the actual trading price to trigger a trade, with a set stop loss and limit. Do you mean I g ? if so they have usufully just reduced their spead on daily indeces I use. Not sure if this would be possible?

IB is http://www.interactivebrokers.com/ibg/main.php
Look up Amibroker, I use it for screening stocks and technical tools, but you can do alot more with it |
