There's heaps of indicators and experts, and if you're good at programming then you can code your own.

what indicators work best for currencies u would think stochastics,anyone??

Moving averages 50sma and 200sma on a 1hr or daily chart.

Go long if the prices closes above the 50sma (whilst also being above the 200sma). Go short if the reverse happens. You can get some very nice moves.

Also, pivot points are good for entries / closing positions.

On Metatrader, HMA_Russian_Color (if you can find it) can be a good indicator of trends. I've started using it since the new year and it's treated me very well so far!!!

I only play currencies now an then.

I have Amibroker, but dont have RT feed, 20min an EOD. Use the spreadbetting platforms to get RT feeds.

When you trade forex your broker is acting in principle to the trade, best you stick to companies with big balance sheets. Most brokers that offer Metatrader are very small companies, many based in Cyprus.

Oanda has great charts which go down to 5 seconds. You would be suprised at how clear this can make things. Great unlimited demo and they don't hassle you.

You can download Metatrader for free and use it in alongside your broker.
