I'm looking at buying some of the above denominated in GBP. Am I right in saying that these are not directly affected by what happens with GBP (ie its like having a spread bet - you get the full gain / loss of USD/EUR regardless of what happens to GBP).

not directly. I would recommend the dollar, not the euro

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. I mean I want to buy a long dollar short Euro (GBP) ETF (ie SEUP)
