thanks fine frog.Everything pointed to the aud going up.The stars aligned.I bet and when it went my way I pressed hard and bet bigger.I honestly thought it would go to parity.I was accussed of being reckless but I considered the chance of downside so small that it was worth a big go.
Its not a bad way to make big money from trading.If you win keep all upping and when you have a huge profit bail and do nothing untill there is an reaction in the opposite direction.Go again and if your wrong just stop and take a break.I spent most of my trading life scalping a few hundred here a few thousand there.Never have I pressed that hard before.The 170k profit for me has meant that I have given up work, maybe for the time being ,maybe forever{I hope}.I paid my mortgage off and life is pretty cruizy now.
I was thinking to put 300k into a trading acount and scalp for a few thousand at a time.I've decided against that and have reduced my account to 20k of which I will risk maybe 5k at a time.If I'm wrong Ill just stop.If I'm right I will all up and pyramid untill I get over 100k and then stop.My living costs with no mortgage are about 25k a year so 100k will allow a great lifestyle and travel. I hope that in 2010 contributors to the forum make their own life changing trades. All the best.
