I often read everyone's point of view on what they think will happen in the short, medium and longer term future with the rate rises. I am coming to the end of my mortgage and intend to go onto the SVR for a while at least (capped at 2% over BR).
I obviously want to get the best deal for myself but wondered what those of you who actually have some idea think. My main question is if the rates do start to rise earlier than expected what do you think the highest they could reach over the next couple of years?
