I closed down Mr.Q's banks for soccer tips. For my horse laying, it was a fine weekend. The horse lay stats are now as follows:

More importantly, the bank size and stakes have increased 19% in the past 2 weeks or so. As always, a smile on my face... as you can see, if you are prepared to take regular small profits, you can grind out a steadily increasing bank on Betfair. However, there will be two problems going forward. One is increasing stakes may cause a liquidity problem. I don't know at what stage and what effect it will have yet. For now, it is not a problem. The second problem is the Betfair Premium charge. I am not paying it yet, but I may soon be. I have a few ideas on lowering my PC, but for now, it is not a problem, so I won't worry about it.

The Etoro team continues to roll along. I checked in this morning and I see that they have generated a bank increase of 14% for me. This profit is compounding, so I am hoping my champion team of dart-throwers can keep it up. Good work lads!

A solid day yesterday for the horse laying. I picked up $39 in UK and AUS racing laying horses.
My system profit is now $125,14. Stakes have increased again, this is the second increase. (+20%)
Etoro has been going great. My bank hit $553 yesterday, which is a profit of $53 plus a bonus of $100, just after the first 2 weeks of operations.
In Etoro, I just copy other successful traders. My criteria are simple. To be on my team a trader needs to show some understanding of risk management, make low-risk trades, and show a profit over 12 months. I have a team of 8 of these guys banging away day and night for me on the Etoro Forex markets. Great stuff.
I feel like George Soros.
Another change, I am going to close down Mr.Q's bank and move the funds to the profitable Etoro account, so I am out of the soccer betting business.

Just a quick update. I will be able to resume my horse racing betting full-speed again today, after being side-lined for the past week. The bots spun a bit out of control and caused some losses, but I think I've got them back under control. I'll post some data and discuss the bots this week when I can find a minute.
Etoro has been progressing well.My initial $400 investment is now $519. I haven't made any trades myself, I just set my bank to copy the moves of other traders. So far, it has been successful, but the proof is in the long-term compounding.
The reserves have also increased by $5,03 this week, which is exactly $5,03 more than I would have had by leaving the reserves in Betfair. Five bucks is five bucks. Think of it as a free bet courtesy of the financial world.
I have to get the compounding going. Keep your eye on Etoro. My traders are now working with $519 in capital, which is a couple of percent more than what they had last week. That's my idea, grind it out, steadily growing a massive bank. It doesn't matter where you get the profits from, the key is the compounding.

The horse betting went well yesterday, picking up $37,25. I just set them up in the morning and left them running all day. It's all I can do because I can't be around in the afternoon. To make Mr.Kelly happy, I will compound the profits into larger stakes as I go.
The Etoro team of financial trading wizards are a bit under water at the moment, down -$12 from the start bank of $500.
One thing which Mr.Kelly has noticed which pleases his heart about Etoro is that is has "built-in" compounding. YOu can select a trader to copy automatically for a fixed percentage of your bank. If that trader makes a profit, his "bank" within your bank also grows. Compounding profits. A winning trader will be trading for larger and larger amounts as his "bank" inside your bank grows. Super for compounding...at least in theory, we'll give it a few months to see how it works in practice. Can these wizards actually beat the market? Hmmmn...we'll have to see. Etoro gives you the chance to engage in Forex trading with low risk and a (very) small bank to check it out.
Still trying to get my chart back up and running. I think I'll have to make a new one...

The first day of action for my Etoro trading team went very well. They made an overall bank increase of 1% profit. Now, you might say, 1% is not much...$5. Big deal. But remember the curious feature of Etoro is that this amount compounds. Today my team is trading with $505. Still, not exactly George Soros-level currency trading, but compounding can make that grow surprisingly quickly. We'll see how it stands in a few weeks.
Mr.Kelly and I have combined and I have worked out a way for the bots to lay horses in the afternoon without me around. The idea is to compound the small profits relentlessly. These profits will be sent to the Etoro team for even more compounding again, before being withdrawn into the safety of my reserve investments.
Etoro is great. For a small bank and no knowledge of trading, a small investor can make good profits by copying other traders. I currently have 6 traders copied. I am not happy with one of them, he likes to make high risk trades, even though he is very successful. My solution is to limit him to a small bank and let him work with that. Etoro lets you limit each trader in your portfolio so that if they blow up, they can't cost you more than the funds you have allocated for them. I put low risk traders at 20% and high risk traders at 5% of my total bank. Etoro limits each copied trader to 20% of your total bank.

It allows you to use a portion of your bank which will mimick the trades of others. What's cool is that you can allocate a small amount of your bank, say $25 or $50 to start with, which is only used to follow that trader. In effect, it allows you to set up a virtual trading office by "hiring" other traders, and "firing" them if they don't produce results for you. (George Soros would love it!)
Of course, you can make your own Forex trades, and you are entered into daily, weekly and monthly competitions for big cash prizes. Other traders may copy you and you can become a famous trading guru and get prizes for that. A lot of fun.
You can also set up a practice account to check it out for free. I set up a practice account and I use it as a "minor team" to check out potential traders I want to "hire" for my real account.
It's unique in the Forex world because you can actually just handicap other traders, without making any trades yourself.
Your account can also be active around the clock. Those traders you "hired" will be working while you are sleeping.
Another great feature that I have noticed is that the "account" for each copied trader within your account accumulated profits and compounds them. I have only been able to lay some favourites using my bot this weekend. The results have been good and I have managed to squeeze out a profit using a rather simple strategy which has so far held its edge over 326 bets to date, even though I had expected it to be over 9%, I'll have to settle for 6%.
Now I will increase this stake and build up this bank before the end of the year. Still a few more months to go.

But I am checking out an interesting alternate which I will share soon. So, my bots picked up $19,26 yesterday, which moved the stake up again for todays betting.
I have also been moving heavily into US sports betting. Thank God for the NFL, as the Sopranos said. I have increased my bank by over 5% this weekend. My stake has also increased in this bank as well. My plan is to keep accumulating at a 5% rate.
