The Perfect Soccer Betting System
The system landed two big bets today: Inverness won at 5.4 odds and then Panionios won at 7.4 odds. The ever-aggressive Mr.Kelly staked 9.54% on Inverness and 8% on Panionios. The resulting profits moved the Kelly bank up to +83.12% after the first 7 bets.

So, a good start to the weekend, and Mr.Kelly is out blasting shotguns in the back yard to celebrate... I'll post Sunday's bets tomorrow morning.

Bet #5

Mr.Kelly says "Back Sunderland for 4.67% of bank @3.15".

(If I can manage I will also back Real Madrid at odds over 1.3, but I probably won't manage to place this bet.)

A dead spot in the scedule

16 Jan 14 11:44
No bets until Friday, it seems. Most leagues are shut down for the winter and there are many cup games and friendlies going on mid-week. Not much to do but wait and watch.

Current Bank: -4.76%/4 bets.

I've spent a long time working on developing the perfect soccer betting system. It's now time to roll it out and take it for a spin and see how it goes.

Everyone is welcome to follow along and try for themselves. But a word of warning...this system is not for the faint-of-heart. The system employs full Kelly staking, which is a ruthless, aggressive staking system, which continuously re-invests profits and grows exponentially.

I won't say much about the selections except that the system is based only on  data for European football, including the Champions league and international matches. I'll just put out the selection and how much to stake at the price offered.

There will usually be one pick per day, but I may squeeze in a few more if opportunities arise. I'll publish what I can.

If you want to make big bucks betting on soccer and you have a good supply of pain-killers handy, you've come to the right place!

End of the year - A summary

28 Dec 11 07:50
Hello everyone, sorry I haven't updated the blog for several days. I am tied up a lot with some crazy irregular hours, so it's the best I can do to update weekly now.

So, 2011 draws to a close and I look back over the year. I started with about $200 and I close the year with over $3500 in profits from Betfair. So, Although I haven't yet made it to Florida, I did book a cruise and I will be in Miami in January...so it's not so bad! I cashed out some profits in December and moved the funds around and enjoyed myself for awhile.

My winning strategy in 2011 involved using CalcOdds.com  - a free service which shows the price differences between the Win and Place markets. If you make many small bets on these differences, you will grind out a 10% profit, as advertised. It really does work , but you need to give it a few weeks and use very small stakes, never more than 2% of your bank/bet.

Particularly profitable is to make multiple bets per race using CalcOdds. The reason is that it reduces the overall commission you pay to BF, and this is the real secret to BF success.

CalCOdds is free and it will turn you into a BF winner if you have the time and patience. You need to update your bets and adjust your stakes WITH EACH RACE to make this system work. I tried to adapt it using Kelly Stakes adjusted after each race. It got to be a  lot of work, but I made some massive profits (from $20 to $3000 in a few months) and some big losses ($1,000 in one week). So, it's a wild ride using Kelly staking. For peace of mind, just use a fixed small percentage and you will do just fine.

At the moment, I have changed my system. I am still on BF. I am laying books against certain UK and Irish races. It's not easy, but it can be done and is a simple system I can do without any time involvement. it returns about 5% per week. Some of the profits are drawn out and sent to Etoro, where I put it to work in the Forex markets. My crack team of traders are generating more profits from this. A fixed percentage of my Etoro bank is drawn out and sent to my investment resevres, generating a safe 5% return/year. A weekly payment is drawn out of these reserves and added to my Betfair bank. So, its set up like a big feedback loop which generates profits at each station as the funds get circulated around. The idea is to generate a compounding snowball over time. At the moment, the system has just under $2000. Each station generates profits and pumps out a fixed percentage to the next station.

Anyway. A happy new year to you all. I wish you all the best  and lots of success in your investment/gambling pursuits.

    Current Bank
TheSnapper    $1 489,32
Etoro            $555,00
Reserves    $1 442,22
Total Funds    $3 486,54
----------------------------
A poor weekend for the nags, dropping $120, right after I moved my stakes up 10%, so the loss is a bit exaggerated. The bots are still showing an overall profit of $249 for the past 2 weeks, so I'm shrugging it off. Ups and downs. No big deal. I also took it on the chin in  Etoro, dropping $50 on a trader getting caught going the wrong way on a big price move.

I called in Mr.Kelly to check out my Etoro team and he made some big changes. Mr.Kelly analysed many traders' long term stats and calculated the optimum stake for each member of my team. To my surprise, he fired several traders whom I thought had "the right stuff", and changed the stakes given to others. He also brought in some new faces who, apparently, have "the Kelly stuff".

Today, I have put him to work calculating how much bank growth I can achieve, and what would be the best stake for another trader who wants to copy my team. I estimate that my Etoro compounding growth should be between 100-300% per year, so it should be about 6% per week. We'll see what Mr.Kelly says.

    Current Bank
TheSnapper    $1 577,99
Etoro            $600,00
Reserves    $1 444,86
Total Funds    $3 622,85

--------------------------------
The Etoro lads pushed over $600 briefly yesterday for the first time. This is a 20% profit for the first 3 weeks, which has worked out at just under 1% compounding each day. I am enthuisiastic about the prospects for explosive compounding because of the great structure of Etoro. Each trader you copy is given a share of your bank. Any profits or losses they make are accumulated in that part of your bank. This, in effect, allows their profits to be compounded. More importantly, it also prevents a rogue trader with runaway losses from destroying your bank (a lesson that HSBC, BNP and Berings have learned the hard way!)
--------------------------------

The horse laying also was in profit yesterday...$16.07 for 11 races.
The Stats are now as follows:

Total Races
371
Gross Profit
$316,38

So, the profits are building...now almost up to $1 per race. And that's the key...a small edge which you can grind out a regular profit from after commission. It can be trading, straight betting or bookmaking...it doesn't matter. What matters is the staking plan you have and re-investing your profits into higher stakes...and not BLOWING UP.

quick update

TheSnapper    $1 561,92
Etoro            $587,00
Reserves    $1 444,86

The horses produced $23,80 in profit and the Etoro team made about $30 for me. The first time that the Etoro lads have made more than Betfair for me!

Money for nothing...
