It is annoying, but they are there to serve casuals who make up the audiences masses, only small % of audience are hardcores who want to sit though whole match of any player that's not a big name that transcends the sport like a Sinner or Raducanu, as useless as she's been for such a long time. They're at least 40 seconds behind 'live pics' anyway, little use to gamblers. All feeds are behind but non-betting media outlets especially.

They are doing a great job imo. It's far better dipping in and out and showing matches that are interesting rather than sticking with 1.02 affairs from beginning to end. For the example you mention, yes I would have liked to have seen the Svitolina match as well, but they switched to the final Roland Garros games at Stan's career, which I can definitely buy.

I'm talking from a pure tennis viewer perspective. For betting they should only be used as a complement as they have some commentators who provide useful information.

I could have done without Henri Leconte in the studio though.

Heavily biased towards the mens game as well, cant undersatnd why most of it is like watching paint dry, especially when Sinner is playing.

[I'm on Virginmedia cable]
TNT1 shows 360 (round the courts, dipping in and out). TNT4,5,6,7,8,9 whow continuous coverage. TNT5,6,7,8,9 accessed on Red Button. Works for me. |

I've been defending them, but now they have a Snooker guy in the studio while there are 8 matches going on!

Another day another total ****how on TNT SPORTS, watching Kostyuk 4-4 in the first set, then mid game switch to some random mens game in the first set, 2 other channels both mens games, why the bias, mens is 5 sets anyway, total garbage coverage.

The problem I have is that do not choose the right moment, enjoying the Jovic/Osaka match, then they move over to the Sakkari match at a completely unimportant moment and stay with it for a few points, they should only switch from the main match they're showing if it's at an unimportant part of the match, to a set point point or match point in another match if they insist on switching at all to appease the casuals. Laura is a decent enough presenter, but her voice is not strong enough to carry a show imo, the sort of softly spoken, sweet voice you'd want to read you a bed time story rather than narrate high octane action. Kind Regards.

Totally agree MES, now they have gone off from the Anisimova match at 1 set all for an interview with Osaka, surely that could be recorded and played later on, worst coverage I have ever seen.

UNBELIEVABLE, Anisimove game 5-4 final set, go for a break and come back with an interview with Sabalenka, totally useless ****, I will never subscribe to these ****s.

This time, Parry was 6-3 in the tie break, 3rd set, and they move away to the Kouame match to show a set point in the first set, that doesn't work either, moving from one critical moment in the parry match, to the a 1st set, set point, with probably another 3 hours to go in that match, it is very poor broadcasting, even catering to casuals, they must have been annoyed as well. You can only imagine how annoyed Chris Evert was too commentating, given there was potentially, just 4 more points left of the match.
