Another tournament missed, surely she would be better off not bothering with the clay and concentrate on getting 100% for grass.

Finally she is doing what I have been saying for ages and going back with the coach she has when she won the US open, if that dosen't make any difference after a year I think she should seriously consider her future as a tennis player.

Can't see her getting past round 1 here against Sierra. Yet again unseeded, wont help at Wimbledon either.

It's sad that after 2025, which was her most consistent year, a fact that sort of flew under the radar, she's now back to struggling with injuries and not winning much. I do not particularly like her as a person, but I would like to see her play to the best of her ability and be a top 20-25 player.

How come you don't like Emma, she seems pretty Vanilla, doesn't really say anything to offend anyone, your true middle class Brit.

said playing doubles with Andy was such an honor and something she would be telling her grandchildren and then two days withdrawing from mixed, because she was still in singles and robbing Andy of the chance of playing mixed in his final Wimbledon (when there were plenty of other non-flaky options he could have opted for).
