It's another testament to the strength of the big three/four era with guys like Cilic and Monfils who were fringe top 10 players in their prime are still doing well/winning tourmanents at near 40.
Yeah. Truly an incredible era. Monfils, JMDP, Nalbandian, Cilic, Stanimal - all behind the big 3/4.

this isnt the vacherot of even a couple of years back. been replaced by a body double that plays tennis much better than the real vacherot. only explanation that makes any sense because im struggling to think of any player that has shown such improvement after years and years and years of challenger level drudgery
Injured and hobbling Ruud isn't winning this.
1.05 was quite generous for someone up a set against someone who couldn't run.
if it was cramping there's always a chance pickle juice etc does the job, but this looked painful, Casper couldn't run for balls and he is no faker. Hope he recovers soon or his ranking will tumble as clay is his best surface and he has Madrid to defend.

there was plenty of chance to bail. I had a failed arb at 1.14 but bailed at 1.19
