khachanov played like an absolute turd the other day against a mug and now hes going to beat carlos. writing was on the wall though about carlos in the last round and even the round before to a certain extent. cant continue to have these brain farts in matches and get away with it indefinitely

looks more and more like a one trick pony and a flat track bully. seems to have little ability to problem solve in matches and incapable of digging in when a match isnt the cakewalk he usually plays in.

getting definite vesely and coric vibes now with fonseca. that was one muggy performance against buse. wins the first set then immediately goes 0-40 on return but doesnt break. obviously then gets broken himself to lose the second set. then does the same **** in the decider by failing to break again from 0-40. didnt watch any of it but knew it would be ues with him going for too much and then after the match he just casually says i missed too much and i need to miss less. no **** sherlock

as much as the serve is an absolute disaster and the ue counts are often embarrassing one thing you cant really fault is her effort. she tends to try as hard as possible to stay in a match no matter how ugly it gets and theres many wta players and even atp ones for whom that is most definitely not the case

Yeah her serve is letting her down. Svitolina has been on fire this year and it was a close battle, much closer than the Aus beat down

Rare to see a top player like Svitolina fall victim to IJBABP, but that match from yesterday might have drained her emotionally and physically.

can't blame the interviewer for having the hots for Flavio though. Handsome guy.

monster choke incoming from tabilo. set and a break up against etcheverry who must be blowing out of his arse after finishing his semi earlier in the day, and the mug gives the break back to the only bp he had to save, chucks in a terrible second set breaker where he couldnt hold serve to save his life and then gets broken early in the decider. classic example of a player who saw the finish line and started to think about it too much.

raining hard, but no player seems interested in stopping play. Probably just want to get this over with and head over to the next tournament.

hard to fathom Etcheverry has never won an ATP tour title. In my head he's a solid top 30 player.
