Was that a wise move or should she actually try to get points and get her ranking up to top 24 to avoid the big names in R3 of Slams?

Good that she's seeded at last, but 28th seed not a high enough seeding position to still avoid big guns early. She gave Saba two great matches last year in Cincy and Wimbledon, she has a chance, but she's hamstrung herself again, doesn't matter Mirra's winning this tournament anyway, though I was looking at that exact draw link on my phone about 3 hours ago, looks like they spelt Vekic, Vokio.

she might never have a better chance to win another tournament so it would be pretty silly if she did tank

for a novelty this was surprisingly good viewing. whole thing was streamed on YT so was easy to watch also

I only saw clips, but I didn't like it. I don't want to see Jannik Sinner all smiley as he double faults against some amateur or Sascha Zverev hit soft balls against Joanna Garland. I take it the top players have been given instructions to give others to shine in this comp, but that just kills it for me. But on the other hand, if you have the guys all out it makes the women look weak.
