Happy New Year 2026

We are the small band of merry men still lingering here after all these years of trouble and turmoil on the forum, laughter and late-night bickering, marathon mega threads, Rome’s slow descent to madness, forum comps and forum meltdowns, classic thread highs a la Levine & Isner and A Girl that isn't Kremer versus Kremer as well as the odd occasional troll just passing through. We are remnants of the past and as each year ticks by, we seem to become one fewer. Some move on to pastures new, some live in countries where exchanges have closed, some end up in gambling clinics, some in mental asylums and some fall victim to forum skullduggery.

May we all have a moment of silence for our latest fallen comrade, edy, who after 19 years hard labour on these forum boards, has departed us, according to the nutters on the politics forum, he’s banded. I assume temporarily, maybe permanent, maybe back half way through the Aussie open if put on the naughty step for 30 days. Who knows.

Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone.
