I've hinted at this in other threads. Everybody is welcome to join. It's very straightforward. I want you to predict which of these siblings will end 2025 with a higher ranking.

Even tennis starts tonight, I put the deadline tomorrow night so you have another 28 hrs or so to scout these players and make your picks.
Edy was allowed a late entry due to this excellent bribe in form of a Lisicki rookie card from 2006.
Very rude of ww and edy to corner me into needing Mirra to finish 10 and Linda to be the better sister to win this though.
(If the tiebreaker comes down to Mirra and she finishes 9 or 11, I will come up with another tiebreaker at the end of the year).

For those wondering where M Ymer is, he's not eligible to play until Jan 17.
Polina off with a stellar start, but big sister Veronika is already answering with a good Australian Open run.
Mikael Ymer is making his start with a lower level tournament in Luxembourg next week before playing DC.

Since Mikael Ymer made his comeback, he has mostly been trading water. Needs to up his form to get past his older brother Elias.
Brenda has been out since the Aussie Open, so that battle has ended up really onesided despite Linda not doing anything special.
Polina had an excellent start to the year, but it didn't take long for VK to bounce back.
Mirra was never in doubt, but her Year End ranking is of interest. Unless she flops badly in the next months, it looks like she will comfortably be inside the top 10.

Apart from the start of the year where Polina made a big run, this has been rather uninteresting with Veronika shortly picking up form from yesteryear, Brenda being out all year and Mikael's comeback not taking off. At least we got a Ymer clash yesterday, which Elias did win proving indeed he has been the better brother in 2025. The comp is still alive though as it will come down to Mirra's ranking which looks like it will be 8 or better, but there's still a small chance she misses out on the WTA Year End finals.

looks like Mirra will actually finish no 9. But can still finish higher ot lower depending on if there are withdrawals at the WTA Finals.
Mirra still with a shot to finish 8th if either of Keys or Paolini withdraws and Mirra wins her match (against Rybakina or Pegula) as an alternate.
