9 matches in 10 days is a lot esp when the last 5 were 3 sets, I think the tired excuse was legitmate tbh.I think AMG is actually the sort of person Penko needs which is probably why they're still together and mostly working well, she's not a yes woman, seems quite stern, Penko knows she needs someone like that to kick her ar$e into gear. Would be surprised if that ended.
It will defo end sooner or later imo, but nothing to do with this. At some point Osty will just move on needing different things. Osty still has a very junior set up in her team, 98% of players move on that from that eventually.

Aga must be seething that she couldn't play Wuhan this year. She would have loved to vulture this. Barty vs Garcia/Sakkari final ffs.
Aga did play? Barty beat her?

It will be of course. I genuinely don't think I've ever seen a good crowd in Wuhan, this event is bs really.

It's not exactly like you're forced to by your government or tennis federation though

Jews don't even believe in hell punishment. Should just ignore these things. What's their God gonna do?

oh. that was last week she withdrew? I haven't been keeping up during Asian swing.
Yes Radwanska played and lost to Barty this week in about R3.

China swing is the lamest
Beijing at least is a credible event. Crowds norm good in Beijing, it has bit of prestige and feeling to it. Wuhan is the definition of a soulless event, no history, no prestige, no atmosphere, nothing.

for me it's more about time of the season than time zone I think. I have no problems staying up for Aussie swing. Players being fresh and motivated and crowds being hot probably helps though.
I agree with this 100%. I am always 100% up for Aussie swing and ready for it. I think I said before but during Asian swing it's harder to devote your entire time to it, there feels more going on this time of year, and the time zone is super horrible for Europeans.
For players it depends who you are really, this time of year is always a question of who has the most gas in the tank. This year not many players feel totally spent, likely because the # of matches played across players is quite low this year as they've all had bad stretches in the year. Some years like half the top 10 are done by this time of the year.

That must have been an absolute nightmare for people betting on it. Dudi lost the 1st set, won the 2nd set and broken Dog to start the 3rd and then retired!

Those Chinese players are pure garbage. Duan and Q. Wang are only ok. The rest are shiite
