Canada season is over (for now, there's Quebec in September of course) and the tour is moving across the south border again. Cincinnati this year will, just like Roger's Cup, be a an event that's big on paper only since lots of big names are missing again this week. Rafael Nadal will get another shot at overtaking Andy Murray's World no 1 spot in ATP. Karolina Pliskova will likely hold onto her no 1 ranking for this week as well, although there's a theoretic chance Simona Halep takes it from her.

There are actually 5 players up for #1 this week in WTA. The live rankings are still displaying the points on Monday rather than with next weeks points off.
Pliskova, Halep, Svitolina, Wozniacki, Kerber. Only first 3 likely in real terms. |
