Market was insane on this. Kyrgios was showing about as many signs of retiring as you possibly can, I was saying in the other thread he looks like he will retire even if he wins this set.
He also was packing up his bags and clearly going to retire before he actually did. |

What sort of prices were being matched? Gutted I missed the action.

Did the OP mean £60k matched at low prices, or £60k liability all snipered!?

He means that someone was hoovered big time. Although it was pretty obvious he was struggling with injury, Nick didn't retire in the usual way. He decided to pack his racquets away in his bag before going over and informing the umpire/Donald he was retiring.

Yeah, I get that it was hoovered, but does the OP mean Young was matched £60k at 2.0 or £60k at 1.1 i.e. did someone genuinely gift away £60k. I checked the match thread and no one commented on it !

He means a 60k chunk was hoovered up at the 1.5x price Young was at the time.

Nick was also roughly a 1.15sp and even after he'd fallen and looked pretty finished, he managed to get 15-40 on Donald's serve (which he eventually held) and the market decided it was a bright idea to smash him into 1.2x again. The market was really, really crazy for this one.

Sounds like I missed a cracker. So around £30k was gifted away in bets of £60k around 1.5. Jeez! Hope you and others cleared up, gutted I missed it.
