Trainers run Mares when pregnant, increases performance. On a somewhat unsavoury note, one way to get around doping is to get pregnant, abort, rinse and repeat.

Being pregnant is an advantage during the early stages of pregnancy fwiw.

Google "pregnancy doping". Pregnancy mimics the effects of blood doping, and in the early stages you only have the benefits before the negatives like weight gain take hold.

That is a paper debating it.

Supposedly it was going on in East Germany as "abortion doping", highly doubt they would do it if there was no athletic benefit, given everything was systematic in East Germany.

Shocked was gonna ask if people thought nations would stoop to this and was gonna suggest certain countries and say that the East German regime would probably do this kind of stuff if they knew about it back in the day and now you're saying they supposedly did.

Margaret Court did it as well didn't she?

She was pretty much the same as serena: a completely different level of physicality to everyone else who played in her era.
