Monaco great value tonight imo.

I make them like 2.4, they are 2.8.

4th
By:
you can't 4th without a 1st-3rd
By:
can too.
would be great if City loses tonight so Leicester will have further proof they are the best English team. |
By:
Monaco have to win by 2 to knock City out though, not only win.
By:
Would reflect badly on the league if that happens also Caramba.
By:
As Leicester are gonna get smashed by someone sooner or later when they play one of the big boys.
By:
makes the EPL look strong imo, a team in the relegation battle in EPL in the top 8 of Champions League.
By:
In that sense it does, but only 1 team in last 8 again would be very poor.
And Leicester have had a reasonably lucky run. One of the worst groups in CL history, then a reasonable last 16 draw, albeit I thought they would comfortably lose. But I wasn't counting on the upturn from sacking Ranieri either. |

Especially as bar Leicester most the other teams would have embarrassed themselves.
Arsenal, no shame losing to Bayern but 10-2... City expected to beat Monaco really, albeit Monaco are a decent outfit (but in the eyes of the British media they would be seen as streets ahead of Monaco) Tottenham an out and out shambles in Europe. Gone out twice in 3 months, second time to a mid-table Belgian side, even Theresa May can't manage this. |
By:
never gonna take Leicester advice from you again
![]() |
By:
, even Theresa May can't manage this.
![]() you see the committee thing today with David Davis not having a clue about a whole bunch of things. |
By:
And even though these teams weren't expected to do anything, these performances don't make the strength in depth look any good.
Southampton went out to Hapoel Beer Sheva losing at home in a total shambles. West Ham went out a bankrupt Romanian team, again losing at home in a total shambles. |

I didn't actually recommend Sevilla though Caramba, I just thought they'd go through. They literally got smashed in. They opened 8/11 in match odds for example, and were 1.38 on the night 3 months later. Think to qualify went from around 4/7 to like 1.41, so they were well backed in.
Leicester were likely goners anyway if they hadn't sacked Ranieri which the romanticists won't like to here. There was zero sign of this upturn, they were a shambles before sacking him. Sack him and win 3 in a row... |
By:
*won't like to hear ffs.
By:
It's certainly been a knock anyway to the romanticist belief of sticking by your manager this upturn from Leicester.
It does kinda show how big player power is now though, in terms of if your players stop playing for you you have no chance. |
By:
Guys like G-Nev (one of our main pundits on TV in UK now), be interesting his take on it, given he has a belief basically you should always stand by your manager and give them a chance to turn things round.
This really isn't supporting that though, as Leicester were gone imo with Ranieri. |

what was the context there aaron?
By:
it's from the case with the guy who had bet Rangers to be relegated
By:
ah yeah but that's a very extreme case isn't it
By:
because Rangers weren't relegated in the traditional sense. they went busto
