Svitolina has showed her class though. It's seem to have come quite fashionable to hate on Svitolina's lack of game, but she actually at least tries to do the rights things, she is heading in the right direction.

Svitolina clearly belongs in top 10 anyway. I actually think she maximises her game quite well. I mean you look at days like today and her forehand looks a serious weapon, it's now making it look a weapon vs the big hitters and not just getting blown off the court.
I don't get why people are getting excited that Konta will drop out of top 10 also, clearly she will be back in it within a few months, she defends not a lot until US hard court season, so unless this injury is bad she will easily cruise back into the top 10.
And you're a mug if you think Konta isn't top 10 standard anyway.

Konta is one of the most hated players I would say, outside the super hated like Vandeweghe etc.
Tbh with Konta it's also cos she doesn't have a huge number of fans to cover up all the hate she gets, not a lot of people to defend her.
The other mugs are the ones surprised Svitolina is now #2 in the race.
How shocking is it that the player who won the 2nd biggest event of the year is #2 in the race in February when obviously it will be massively weighted towards the few big events that have occurred.

I've not been very impressed with Thiem this week, i think he is plenty short enough here.
