Rafa was doing poor because he ran out of juice. Period. 
Now, I am postiive, Rafa will do good again. He will be warming up till he gets to Djoker (q/f). Then he will ran Djoker OVER! That would scare everyone and everything. Poor Rog will be waiting for hungry Rafa in the final (he will wish he did not!
). Then Rafa will eat him alive for lunch!

he is a shadow of player that he once was, his results at non-clay tournaments have been awful all year.

yep the top 8 for the year is pretty much decided given the gap beween 8 and 9
struggling to think where's he got enough points to be comfortable in 7th. seemingly he's hardly done anything this year. suppose he picked up just enough even in a below par clay court season, mopped up a couple of mickey mouse tourneys and 2 GS quarter finals (?)

his clay form is still very good (Though clearly not what it was).
He has never played well at the o2, but he may well need to play to try and increase ranking - there is no obvious no.4 player so maybe he could chase that down.

Hamburg, Buenos Aires, Rio, and Stuttgart gave him points the others mostly don't have.
Not sure about 8th spot for O2, Ferrer might get caught, as there are doubts about his fitness and form after his injury induced break from Wimb on.

just lay him at 1.01>1.1 while you can he is finished said this years ago knees are gone its a shame but its been coming
