Hi,

I heard Federer say on eurosport that there are different balls than they are used for the last 5 weeks on french open. Couldn't find anything on google. Anyone now something? Or some link where it is described the performance of this new ball. I dont know if they are new or does french open just use different balls than on tour?

Babolat ball. This is always the case. The ball used isn't even consistent between tour events (though was between Madrid and Rome), let and out the tour events and grand slams.

This ball was introduced at the French Open a few years ago now. It's smaller (because it doesn't really fluff up), and flies through the air a bit. That's all I really know.
