Yes - it adds interest to a sporting event and saves money going to the actual event.  Except for Premiership footie - nothing makes it less dreary.

you can actually when he just said lay Querrey when odds on

Report scandanavian_haven October 29, 2014 1:57 PM GMT
I doubt Platini could have been talking about laying Querrey when odds on in matches below tour level surely

get your tennis knowledge up, learn to read a match, and most importantly of all

LEARN WHICH MATCHES TO AVOID AND WHICH MATCHES YOU CAN PROFIT FROM

not every match is 'good'. short list a handful of matches (from your knowledge of tennis) and stick to doing them.

if you don't lose, you can only break even or win.
Report AZ91 October 29, 2014 2:07 PM GMT
there is no real 'algorithm' to win

tennis is far from linear enough

but there's a very vague/general system you can approach tennis matches with, and then changing the different variables to suit the match you're betting on

variables include (arguably the most important) -->maximum amount willing to stake, entry points in the match, understanding of the volatility of the market

again, these all vary from match to match, dependent on who's playing, when and where they're playing, if they're in need of or defending points, so on and so forth. each match is unique.

for example, murray made his intentions clear 4/5 weeks ago that he intends to make London WTF, for me that was a cue for: murray is gonna play seriously in the coming weeks, therefore he's gonna be a safer bet than he usually is...as aftertiming as this looks, it's turned out that way too.

identify different situations and work according to them

hope this helps, this is how I approach tennis on here and for me it works (long term profit)

Don't be 'greedy'! When you find yourself green on both - get out, it's as easy as that really. With AZs advice on having some knowledge - it's only greed which keeps you in there. I find it works really well for me. If you're truly serious about 'steady profit' - this is the way to go
