I am thinking to lay Li for a trade but seems to be such a dodgy game. What do you think?

Li Na is moving Genie all over the place but then all of a sudden she'll hit a wild shot
not betting on this without a stream but i'd lay li if she breaks, you'll get a better price by backing genie tho

women's tennis is an absolute mug's playground for trading on tennis, to be able to trade on anything you need to be able to rely on something happening if all else goes wrong

SC you need to start laying low odds the first time they go low, look at Li's graph
also backing Li above 1.2 at 0-2 second set was huge value. Almost SP with the way Genie has been serving

just for those interested, my bet was that there would be 3 sets, not into trading women's tennis myself.. why would you?

because there are massive swings, you are thinking like a gambler/backer, not a trader

no it was terrible value, once genie had won a game the market was always going to change its opinion of her chances
Cibby-A-Rad wil lbe much better trading match, that is much more likely to have more swings and three sets than this one, the gulf in experience here is too big. Having said that given how this has gone, would not be surprised i Genie in a bottle breaks here.
I agree that womens tennis is no where near as good to watch, but in regards to betting, everything has a probability of happening.

I heard a little segment maybe two years ago with Sam Stosur where they mentioned players and Sam had to give a snap answer. When Li's name came up she said "money" straight away.
If she came across rude in that interview, it's probably owing to the inanity of the questioning. "What number racquet did you use to win?" and "Try not to fall over in the final" would be enough to rub me up the wrong way as well.
In fact all on-court interviews I've seen at this Open have been dire. Reducing Bouchard's achievements after her win the other day to, in a nutshell, "You're really pretty, who do you fancy?" just about says it all. They're fools.
