Kookie has been hitting the net like a target practice.  So far no intention to change things around.

Tank happend... every year

this is more dangerous in Asian tourney, because the season are long and some player want rest

worthy of a fine.

the point at 15-30 was brilliant.

she tried to hit it long and it went in so she made sure it went long a couple of strokes later.

Exactly how i feel. If not a fine they deserve to be banned from upcoming tournaments. If you want rest, withdraw. Pretty simple instead of putting in a performance like this.

a ban is too strong.

a fine and a warning is justified and it's in the rulebook.

(a) A Player shall use her best efforts during a match when
competing in a Tournament.
(b) Violation of this Section shall subject a Player to a fine up
to $, for each violation. For the purposes of this
rule, the Supervisor/Referee and/or Chair Umpire shall
have the authority to penalize a Player in accordance with
the Point Penalty Schedule

fine of 10k  is a joke imo

Not sure if he's asking how much of a fine or how much i've lost. If its how much i've lost then not much at all and its more to do with the performance than anything else.

Zako made an overrated season 2013 on Hardcourt

just burn out here...

of course nothing will be done, because it's i. controversial and ii. takes some of this win away from the home girl.

but there's little point in having this rule in the rulebook as it's never enforced.

You can't simply ban a player for losing a game even if is a non ranked one. She could have eat something in bad condition, or have thousands of problems and she could prefer to play a little on court and try to withdraw. Also the organizers maybe asked her to try or many more things.

Highly doubt that performance had anything to with anything other than her simply not wanting to be there.

Koreans are corrupted tw@ts. If you remember world cup in Japan Korea you might recall some interesting moments. Zako didn't lay herself her paycheck was already there

it was a tank Sir Robin. It's a R1 match - they could have easily found a qualifier wanting her place and it would have given the home girl a better chance of going deeper. I like cookie, but she's a moody cow and that was a genuine lack of best effort.

Nothing suspect at all. As Charles said, wasn't in the mood, didn't want to be there.

Genuine lack of any effort. Wonder if it was pre meditated or was a simple case of not being arsed on the day.
