The look on Federer`s camp`s face said it all they seemed rather satisfied. Was Federer playing to lose??? its definitely the case I feel. He did not expect to beat Rafa and hence wanted to make some real cash. 3-0 Robredo 75/1. Well done Mr Federer you are now in my black list for ever. I fear if this is part of a bigger scheme instead of anticipated federer and nadal clash we may see either kohlschreiber vs robredo. Now thats what I call a big scheme on the part of tournament directors. How ever Mirka Federer now has good cash to enjoy rest of her life in peace I guess. Disgusted as I have been following tennis for such a long time and it was clear federer was playing to lose. Shame on the black listed GOAT.
I somehow doubt Mrs Federer popped into her local bookies to chuck 50k on a 3-0 loss for her husband haha.......however, a very entertaining thread :-)

I think Murray will beat Djoko in the semi's anyway so for me its a case of do I trade out on Nadal before the final. Murray needs to retain his ranking points and I still think all 3 serbs (Djokovic, Tipsarevic & Troicki) were doping last year hence their dips in form

I duno mate, im a big nadal fan, the amount of tournys he misses through injury makes him suspect to me, also he outlasts most bar djocko in aus last year who I have no doubt was doped. Also he loses a lot of sweat which if u were doped up would probably happen

I play a lot of squash still at a high level and I sweat a lot but I don't dope, a lot of people sweat a lot and a lot don't, I don't see that as having anything to do with doping. Also, the way Nadal plays is very demanding on his knees and body because he gets involved in much longer rallies each point. I think Nadal just doesn't ever want to play if not 100% and I also think he is the kind of player who will retire younger than most because he puts his body through so much

Drug testing is tennis is a joke - only an idiot could get caught. Nadal's knee story is a crock of it - there's never been an injury like it in the history of sport. Recently he's off for 7 months "injured" comes back and he's hardly lost a match. He's the crowning glory of the Spanish national doping program - like Bolt is in Jamaica.

nadal does steroids I think. there is no cast iron evidence otherwise he would be banned, but to think top tennis players don't dope is naive. http://tennishasasteroidproblem.blogspot.co.uk/

Read that link many times..... A_T said that Nadal is one of the most obvious dopers in sport. I asked if it was so obvious maybe he could enlighten me with the evidence he obviously has with such a statement but as yet I am still waiting. Maybe he is getting a power point presentation ready as we speak

the knee was clearly giving him bother in 1st 2 clay tournys
So it proceeded to get better after he played on it more? Yes that makes sense.
I've no doubt whatsoever what he's up to - Ferrer too who is a kind of talentless Nadal. Noone gets caught in tennis though the testing is completely inadequate.

in evidence you have to have a thorough testing programme which doesn't exist in tennis. ITF conducted a grand total of 63 OOC blood tests in 2012 amongst all pros. They're barely even trying to catch cheats - but noone cares as long as the $$$ keep rolling in.

Nadal is a natural talent, it's been obvious since he was in his teens. Don't see the point of this doping talk. Djok had a sudden tremendous improvement in stamina in 2011, which he attributed to his gluten-free diet, but he's also always been a huge talent and a mental beast. IMO.

and the situation in spain with a certain doctor + cyclists + the complete inability of the ITF to run an effective/constant anti-doping program are always going to arouse suspicion
but of course there are a lot of other players too

Both Nadal and Djokovic have "medical exemptions" to receive PRP treatment. It is known. Legal doping sponsored by ATP/ITF/WADA.
One day the truth about Nadal will come out... Armstrong style.

Firstly great shout from vector. The old goat has been at it for quite a while and is building up a war chest to pay of mirkha when he dumps her for Gavin rossdale Its obvious and only a matter of time The goat and Gavin will need a pile to pay off both missus IMO As for nadal look into his eyes and you can see the beast inside Isn't he known as king of the silent ban Get tested out of tournament and you serve a ban But its not made public?

how you guys can argue who's doped or not... everybody is at those levels. all u know. djoko seems to move like superman for 5 hours, like nadal with 30% less muscle mass, ferru and berdych got veins all around the body like Mister Olympia... and MURRAY is the dopest overall the others, see his muscle growth 3 yrs ago...

Someone has muscle = automatic steroids and doping
THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES WHO UNDERGO CONSISTENT, INTENSE PHYSICAL TRAINING AS PART OF THEIR JOB.
If one of them gains some mass over an off-season or whatever, that's because they have chosen to do so and they alter their training and diet to support that. There is not a single tennis player on tour with a considerable amount of muscle mass that would take a severely long time to gain. Murray isn't particularly muscular, Ferrer isn't particularly vascular ... 'Mr Olympia'
Such a moronic post also coming from a guy who pretends to put 20k on this and that
