Yeah, I have a series of factors I take into account for a mechanical system, and then I match it up against information regarding fitness etc. It doesn't mean rufin is going to win.... but I just felt he was over the odds at $3.40 so I had a little speculator...

I tried to make one  of those rating systems before , how do you test what you originally have as your model?

Robredo has one of the best records as favourite when he is a set up. I don't see him losing this, unless he retires.

yeh i need to improve my bank roll management too. where do you get stats wher player wins first set, loses match , or wins first set wins match etc?? do you pay a website for it?

was way too exposed on that. gonna give it a break for a few days.

I made a database of all the results from 2004, then I use a filter to take info from that to a spreadsheet so that is automatically works out the player win totals from a set up etc.

The other day I worked out which tournaments are consistently the best for backing favourites or underdogs too. That will be useful. Although, the US Open is more of less in the middle of the list, so it won't help with that.
