Sorana played very well at the recent Rogers Cup in Toronto, beating established names such as Caroline Wozniacki, Jelena Janković, Petra Kvitová and Li Na on a very impressive run to the final. She was eventually easily beaten by Serena Williams in the final, but this run will surely have done wonders for her confidence.
