I really don't understand the bias towards Novak this matchup. Murray will have pretty much everyone in the crowd behind him, and you saw how important that was during his last match against Janowicz. Murray is big value

Djokovic obviously isn't going to lose JUST because of the crowd (likewise Murray winning)

but we've seen Djokovic get a little bothered by crowds that are very supportive of his opponent or very anti him. a masters but the Dimitrov loss for example

regarding the Olympics and the suggestion Federer didn't care

Why would he be thinking 3 years ahead for some tinpot tournament ConfusedConfused

SAO PAULO (AP) -- Roger Federer says he won't play as often in the next few years and hopes to compete in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
The 31-year-old Federer says he'll be more mindful about the tournaments he plays in the future to make sure he can keep playing at a high level.
"I have to make sure that I take care of my schedule, of my body, of my mind,'' he said Thursday before an exhibition match with Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci. "Hopefully I can still stay on tour for many more years and hopefully play the Olympics here in three and a half years or so, so I have to look far ahead and not just the next six months.''

POINT IM MAKING IS I THINK MURRAY WILL NEED TO PLAY LIGHTS OUT TO BEAT NOVAK AND HE WILL NEED EVERY OUNCE OF SUPPORT TO HELP HIM DO THAT. IF MURRAY IS NOT SERVING ABOVE 70% 1ST HE WILL GET EATEN ALIVE.

Report showaprofit • July 7, 2013 12:19 AM BST
In long matches Djokovic is the much fitter man. In the Australian Open this year Murray was completely knackered after the 2nd set and lost 1-3. Also, Murray has looked a little sluggish in the last two matches. To beat Djokovic he needs a good start, needs to serve well + try and keep the rallies short and then he's got a good chance. Murray can win but will he win??:)
Report lurka • July 7, 2013 3:20 AM BST
Djoko has beaten Muggy 3 times in a row. In fact, Muggingtons has won the first set in their last 5 meetings. Not going to back either before the start but I'll be keeping that in mind.

I think Delpo is the best player either has played and I don't think he really troubled Djoko. Verdasco and Jano gave Murray more trouble. Wouldn't be surprised to see 5 sets but at least 4 with djok edging it.

Yeah Novak went 5 sets and over 4 and a half hours for a laugh.

Dear God.
Report lurka • July 7, 2013 12:07 PM BST
Marcce he was never behind in the match and he knew he had the edge if it went to 5 sets. DP had one BP at 2-2 in the 5th set before Djok broke him. That is not much trouble imo, certainly not for a 5 set match or in comparison to Murray v Verdasco or jano

The crowd will clearly have effect on this match and it's true that in Madrid they directly
effected Nole's game aginst Dimitrov. Wimbledon crowd is something different. They will cheer for Andy but they will not
be incorrect during the points and won't be whistling if Djokovic ask for challenge or shouting when he is serving etc.
Think Djokovic can handle the crowd until it's "not on the court" and dirrectly, incorrectly influencing points...
