Seconded.  Absolutely sickening to think that some people are desperate to profit from Del Potro's misfortune.  I decided to back him at prices between 5 and 7 as a show of good faith and sportsmanship.

I'm only messing RMB, stayed away.  Just find this thread odd, not like anyone was hoovering anything.

Are Del Potro backers also scum because Ferrer had to end to his practice early this morning because he was 'injured'?

i laid the fook out of ferrer below 1.2 but i just traded my profit on both players. But it was a risk-free no-brainer I thought. Ferrer could only have been sub 1.2 if Delpo retired before end of set and then it would have been void. There was v little chance that if Delpo couldn't move on his knee that he was going to limp thru 4 or 5 games and lose the set. He would have retired immediately. Ridiculous stuff.

i'm guessing tiger backers are also scum for backing him at the players

Del Potro hit 5-7 after one game!?

Funnily enough I was just waiting for Ferrer to be a good enough price to back as I had previously laid him to win his quarter so was gutted to see Delpo go down, then I thought Ferrer was just too short as plenty of players have been injured and won. Even Azerenka won even though she retired before the next match so I just left it and later laid Delpo to win 3-0, which he did but I just about broke even overall.

Is it possible that Del Potro was acting a bit? I'm not saying that he didn't have a bad knee, I just think it was made to look much worse than it actually was?

If his knee was that bad I doubt he'd have been able to carry on?

You may think badly of me but I'd bet on Ferrer to win the tournament so I was glad when it looked like Del Potro couldn't carry on.

I think there's a difference between watching a sporting event with money involved and watching it without?

yes ferrer hit 1.14 which means delpo hit 8.2-8.4, must have been at 0-15 in the second game. One of the biggest overcorrections i've ever seen on here.

Of course it's possible he was acting a bit

you are glad because you were making money, not because a player was hurt. nothing wrong with that

even after delpo broke for 2-1 and was clearly able to play, ferrer was about 1.3 - 1.4 i think

why people would want to back that low at the point where you need so many more games to need a settlement is odd

It was Johnny Mac who was talking that DelPo won't be able to go any further after set 1. ?? Mug!
So, he probably deluded many traders into it...so I saw the price on Ferre moved from 1.78 down to 1.18!???

I did lay Ferr at 1.18 Love
