Robson isn't Henman.
She doesn't suddenly start firing magic rockets from her ar$e just because a large amount of two week tennis fans starting shouting her name.
She is a very real talent that just hasn't demonstrated real commitment to professional conditioning.
As such she is likely to lose this match, but I want her to win. She did well at the weekend.

wish she would just get the ball in play a bit more.....wants to hit every shot as hard as she can rather than get them in with placement...
yeah atm kanepi is letting the occasion get to her more than Laura has. Robson needs to be punishing her though and getting ahead. Kanepi isn't going to give her 2dfs in each service game.

yeah scoreline flatters kanepi, laura been all over her. Kanepi's serve been awful and been making unforced errors for fun.
hopefully pressure of serving for the set can lead to a break back here

because she's not experienced enough, and ball bashes everything
Laura the better player but choked when it mattered. Serving for the set at 5-4, and when 5-2 up in the tb.

Too right Diktat. I went the other way and though the Crowd would lift her to the semi-final at least but that serving performance when the first set was in sight was as pure a definition of a choke as you will see.
lack of bottle is telling on the big occasion unfortunately. Expensive lesson for me yet again with a British Tennis player

got to back robbo now,break,win tb and then stroll to victory
Not got the game OR the minerals to achieve what it takes. Quite simple really. 5-2 up in tie-break showed it all.
she's only young.....just as good as most of the top twenty players.....just needs to cut out the unforced errors

Kerber was 5-1 up on Kanepi to win the match previous round and she folded. Anyone bemoaning Robson's performance today is a very sore loser indeed
